Rule Changes – 2011
1. Liners will be straight out the far side of the heading box however far the contractor wishes.
- Judges may not compete at and judge at the same rodeo.
- Western attire will be a long sleeved shirt with a collar and buttons or snaps.
- A committee that bring in a new corporate sponsor will receive 25% of that
sponsorship money.
- RRA will hire the judges for the rodeos.
- Women of any age may tie on in the mixed team roping.
- The neck rope is the only part of the barrier that may foul a contestant to warrant
a rerun.
- $1.00 per entry will be taken from entry fees to pay the judges. The committees
will pay at least $300.00 per judge and RRA will pay $200.00 per judge per rodeo from the collected money.
- The Executive Committee will select the judges for the finals on a one year trial
basis.
- A contestant must compete at one rodeo and have a RRA membership to be
eligible to compete at the finals.
- A contestant must have 500 points in two events to be eligible to be in the all
around. Any points won in other events in that category will be added.
- ORDER OF SLACK
- Barrel Race, Senior, Junior and Novice.
- All Open Team Roping.
- Saddle Bronc and Bareback, Senior and Junior.
- Goat Tying, Senior and Junior
- Steer Wrestling, Senior and Junior
- Calf Roping, Senior and Junior.
- Breakaway, Senior and Junior.
- All Mixed Team Roping.
- Senior Breakaway.
10. Bull Riding, Senior and Junior.
(Under slack put the calf roping in front to the junior calf roping.
